I had cooked breakfast for my sisters on the past week and this week, I decided to cook fried rice for my sis and aunt. Hehe. This is because my parents were not free again and I took this opportunity to improve my cooking skill. I found out that there was overnight white rice in the rice cooker and hence I decided to cook fried rice as our lunch. =D
It was rather simple for cooking fried rice than a breakfast set. There were only few procedures to be taken to cook it.
Step1: Prepare all the needed ingredients on the dining table, such as cooking oil, garlic, white rice, chili pepper, sausages, eggs, soy sauce and salts.
Step 2: Peel off the garlic skin and chop them into small pieces (shown in the picture below).
I felt so proud when I was chopping the garlic as I felt that I was a big chef like my mom. HAHA.
Step 3: Cut sausages into small pieces.
Step 4: Cut chili pepper into small pieces and wash the knife properly after that.
Step 5: Pour suitable amount of the cooking oil to the wok to heat it.
Step 6: Cook garlic until it turns into golden colour.
Step 7: Fry white rice and eggs until the rice turns into yellowish colour.
Step 9: Add in chili pepper and sausages and continue frying.
Step 10: Add soy sauce and salts for seasoning purpose.
Step 11: Continue cooking until the rice becomes golden colour.
A simple yet delectable fried rice is well served! As the portion was slightly large, I took away some for my aunt too. Both my sister and aunt complimented on it! I felt so good when I was able to cook well. =D Hence, more cooking to go in the future! =D
