This is horrible as I am blogging about my trip which was happened around 1.5 years ago! This trip happened during our mid-semester break in 7th semester. We (Sixth sense) always complained that there wouldn't be any trip happen for us as we were not steady enough to have a spontaneous trip which is away from KL. Hence, we decided to let 6 of us make such a trip happens for this time!
At the beginning of that semester, we started to seek confirmation one by one to ensure this trip is on! At last, we fixed the date on 23rd and 24th September 2016. This was during our mid semester break. We were looking forward to it as this is our very first trip!
On 23rd September, we left UPM to Ipoh quite early in the morning. We did not have any proper breakfast until we reach Ipoh. Forgive me for not mentioning the time in details as I am recalling this trip by referring to the photos that had taken only. Haha. Anyway, we had our dim sum breakfast at Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum. This restaurant is much recommended as food is tasty and not that crowded.

After our breakfast, we went to the Concubine Lane. This street became famous out of a sudden since 2015. Hence, we decided to pay a visit to this place. I thought it would be like the Jonker Walk in Malacca, yet it was just a normal street with few varieties of food and souvenirs were sold here. Seriously, I do not know the main reason of its popularity. Lol. The day was so sunny and we didn't not stay there for long.

Then, we headed to Plan B, a cafe which is quite popular in KL too. We wandered around and took some photos here. The surrounding in this area were quite close-to-nature feel where grasses laid on the wall and big trees were planted around here.

After that, we went to Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village to spend our evening there. You can ride bicycles around there to enjoy the wind, walk around the area and there was a displayed boat to let you enter with lots of pictures in it. The surrounding was nice as there were mountains and trees surround it. There was a hill in the village and we walked up to explore.

Around dinner time, we went to Kedai Makanan Rasa Lain (a seafood restaurant) to enjoy our seafood dinner! The restaurant is famous with its cheese prawns, steamed clams with zesty lemon sauce and crab meehoon. Have a look on the pictures! Yummilicious!

Forgive me that I forgot what was happened in between and I skipped all the way to our supper. >.< We went to the famous Tuck Kee restaurant. This restaurant is popular with its fragrant stir fried sotong! Fyi, I am not a sotong lover, yet I love it so much! The sotong is very very appetizing made me eating non-stop for the first time. >.< Other than the sotong, we ordered 1 pax fried wat tan hor with raw egg too (This is also one of the restaurant's signature food.) !

In the afternoon, we had bought a salted-steamed chicken, which is another famous delicacy in Ipoh as our supper. Yes, you didn't hear me wrong. Our second supper of the night! Haha.

On the next morning, Wan Ying and Sook Sian woke up earlier to swim. Yea, the rest of us did not bring our swim suits and hence we slept til they done swimming. Hehe. After that, we headed to Ipoh town for our breakfast. Hmmm, we tried on egg tarts, prawn noodles, char kuey teow and its white coffee.

After our breakfast, we visited to the Kellie's Castle. This was the second time I went there as I had my first visit with my family a year ago. It is a historical building which is about a foreigner had his business in Malaysia and built a caste as his house. Some spooky sayings also discussed within this castle which increases its popularity nationwide.
Weather was so hot and it made our photo session so much more difficult. We explored around the building, went inside the tunnel and up to the rooftop! The sun was glaring and we perspired so much. We stayed there around late afternoon and went for a simple lunch before heading back KL.
We stopped by Kota Damansara to have our dinner. If I am not mistaken, our initial dinner venue was too crowded and hence we decided to change our dinner venue. Finally, we had our first try on 神来一锅 . This is a Taiwanese style steamboat restaurant which serves different soup bases in their 1 pax dinner set which includes desserts. For me, I choose milk soup base which is one of the special soup bases served here. The food in 1 pax dinner set is more than enough for me cause I took more than 2 hours to eat and I could not finish the entire set too. >.< However, everything tasted so nice! I would definitely come for the second time!

At last, we were back to UPM with our tired soul and body! What a wonderful trip for sixth sense! Last but not least, thanks Vnie for being our driver most of the time, Wan Ying as the trip planner and Sook Sian for settling our accommodation and Li Yin as the trip treasure. ! Im so sorry that I didn't contribute. :( Merci everybody!
