22/5/2015 : Field Trip to Malacca

As I always feel, "Once I start blogging, it will never be stopped." Just mentioned in the previous post that not going to talk more in that post, now I immediately start writing for the 3rd post. This is because I enjoy blogging. I did not enjoy it for almost half a year already!

Okay okay. Stop talking about the nonsense. Things that I wanted to blog had already happened more than a month ago. Yeap! TT On 22nd May 2015, I had a field trip to Malacca to visit the Mamee Factory, which it has a retail shop at Jonker Walk. To be honest, this trip was not that enjoyable as I thought.

The first thing that I dislike was all the students must wear the attire that has the UPM logo. Whhhatttttt? This could be replaced by our student ID card right? Not many shirts we have that has a UPM logo, only our block t-shirt and BPG course t-shirt. Both shirts are like......... Furthermore, we could only wear black long pants, not even jeans! Are you kidding me?!

On that morning, we reached the Mamee factory 15 minutes before it started its operation. We stayed there for 10 minutes to wait for further instruction and the one who was in-charged asked us to shift to our next destination to take our lunch first. After that, then only came back here for the visit. Seriously?! It was only 5 minutes more. And shifting the destination caused the route was not in the same direction anymore. We had no rights to make any decision, so we could only be the obedient followers.

Lunch, was another problem too. Previously we spent some time to wait for the instruction. Thus, we only had around 30 minutes to take our lunch based on the itinerary. Because our trip fees comprised our lunch, we had to eat together. The first thing came to my mind was, " What? Need to eat Malay foods again, at Jonker Walk?" So, some of us thought of just spending our own money to go for some Chinese foods. However, before making this decision we wasted some times too. By arriving the Chinese chicken rice shop, we only left around 20 minutes. Suddenly, we were informed that the lunch provided was chicken rice too. Hence, do not waste the money to eat the same thing, Urgh! Why didn't them inform us earlier? Lastly, we only left 15 minutes to take our lunch, This was a mission impossible for me to finish my lunch within 15 minutes. Lol.

We took our lunch at the ground floor of the Mamee Jonker House. This shop is kind of selling some Mamee's products, merchandise and also served as a restaurant which sells chicken rice. The chicken rice was served in kind of a small proportion and it was not enough for me. Ended up, I took some rice from my course mate. Due to waiting for me to finish my lunch, some of us were late to the workshop (next agenda). I am so sorryyyy.

The workshop was the only fun part of the entire trip! However, it was kind of childish for us who aged 22 years old. Haha. The workshop allowed us to decorate the cup of the cup noodles and customize the flavour of our very own cup noodles. Further explanation already mentioned in my previous post. :P

After that, we had our own free time and some of us just walked around in the Jonker Walk. Then, we paid a visit to the Mamee factory. This visit was awesome too as we could watch the process of producing the Mamee's snacks, Mamee's Chef instand noodles and Mamee's instant noodles. Each of us was given a pack of Mamee's snacks as a souvenir.

By evening, we reached our last destination which was the Pantai Klebang. Actually, I did not really understand that why they still wanted to come, as this destination was quite optional. Morever, we were late from our itinerary already. We just spent some times there to take some photos and my course mates took away their dinner there.

One of the group photos.

Never expected this post would be so long. Lol. To sum up everything, I reached UPM around 9.30pm and I had not taken my dinner yet. HB came to fetch me on that night!!! Hahahahah. But he waited for me around 1.5 hours. OMG :( Im so sorry~~ Thank you so much for the ride <3 By the time I reached home was almost 12 am after taking my dinner. It was such a tiring and troublesome trip!

Aiks. That's all from my field trip.Till here, buhbyeee!
